Dear customers, we have noticed that there was a problem with PDF invoicing for the Cloud.
Between the end of November and mid-December, invoices from some European customers who are subject to the One-Stop-Shop regulation (i.e. EU invoices without reverse charge) showed a tax rate of 0%, although the correct tax rate was used to calculate the tax amount. This was primarily a visual problem in the invoices, but can lead to problems with accounting / tax.
This short post is to inform them that the Kimai Cloud Twitter account will be discontinued immediately and deleted within the next week.
This decision is mainly based on the fact that the Twitter platform is at odds with the openness that Kimai represents. However, it has also been influenced by the many actions taken by the new owner in recent weeks.
This is an announcement on a planned update during the weekend of 18-20 November.
We have to upgrade parts of our infrastructure and expect several downtimes, each day beginning in the late evening (middle European time CET) and could last for a few hours.
At the end of October 2022 all clouds will be updated with the latest improvements.

For paying corporate customers, there is now a new way for employees to log in to the cloud.
All Azure customers with a paid Kimai plan can now create an SAML AD Toolkit app for Azure and link it to their Kimai Cloud.

All Google Workspace customers with a paid Kimai plan can now create a SAML app and link it to their Kimai Cloud.
Customers located in the EU or with European bank accounts can now pay their cloud bill via SEPA direct debit.
In the revised plan administration area, where your payment types can be managed, it is now also possible to issue a SEPA direct debit mandate.
As a paying customer you can make a personal support appointment via video chat to discuss your open questions.
The appointment can take place in English or German.
