  • My country is not listed

    If you cannot find the country of your companies headquarter, then we do not yet support billing for this location.

    Please send us a support message and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

  • The account type influences your invoice

    Kimai is explicitly aimed at B2B customers only. The account type "Business" is therefore also the default setting.

    If you are an EU customer and are not entitled to deduct VAT, or do not have your own VAT ID, you can select "Private". Please read under Secure payment about the tax implications.

  • EU Reverse-Charge only with VAT-ID

    We require a valid VAT ID to issue an EU reverse charge invoice.

    The tax-number you enter will appear on your invoice in any case.

  • How can I switch to a higher plan?

    In order to change to a higher plan, we need the following data from you:

    • My profile: Company name, billing address, VAT ID, country
    • Payment data: a verified credit or debit card

    As soon as you have entered this data, go to the "My Kimai Cloud" page and select the plan in the "Change plan" area.

    After clicking on the "Change plan" button, you will be taken to an overview page, which lists the estimated monthly costs.

    Here you have to confirm your selection again. Your plan change will be activated immediately.

  • How can I switch to a lower plan?

    Currently this is not possible online, please contact the support.

  • How is my payment data stored?

    We work with the payment service provider "Stripe", which manages your payment data securely. Your credit card details (card number and CVC/check digits) are never sent to our server.

    We do not store your payment data!

    We get anonymous access from "Stripe" to the following data for information purposes: the card provider, the expiry date and the last 4 digits of your card. We use these information exclusively to show them to you in the "Payment data" page.

  • How can I delete my account?

    This is currently not possible online, please contact the support.
